Q&A: HOW CAN I PRESERVE MY WEDDING BOUQUET MYSELF?

Question by becky902@sbcglobal.net:
How can I preserve my wedding bouquet myself?

I got married on July 19th and my bouquet was stuck in the freezer by someone as I was very busy leaving for my honeymoon. Now I am back and have no idea what to do with the bouquet in order to preserve it. I definitely want to do it myself. Can someone please walk me through the steps on how to preserve it from the stage it’s in now (frozen)? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!!

I do crafts of all kinds of flowers, so am familiar w/quite a few different things that can be done. There are crystals you can purchase to absolutely cover the bouquet, put it in the microwave, & it preserves them like brand new. I would advise you to go to a good craft store, tell them what you are going to do, & they w/give you the proper materials you will need to do this. It DOES work as I have done it. Good luck to you…:)

Silica gel.
An artist friend of mine uses this.
Don’t know if it will work now that it’s been frozen.
