We recently got married and got a bunch of presents not on the registry and things that we would never use. What is the etiquette on returning gifts? Should you only return them if you think people wont come over? Should you return whatever you want?

You know how usually everyone in the wedding celebration has there own small bottle of Champagne and a glass to make a toast? Well what if everyone had a mini bottle of grey goose vodka and customized shot glasses instead? and then everyone would take a shot after the toast instead of a sip of champagne.

We are all college students and thought it would be fun to have a fake wedding with a group of like 40 people. As far as food I am baking a cake and then its going to be pot luck. I wanted to do like unity candles or sand vases. Is the dollar store a good place to find some of this stuff its going to be an outdoor wedding when the sun goes down! Did any of you ever shop at the dollar store for some fun things for a wedding?

We have registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. We do not need any bedding type stuff, and the first two stores mentioned, we pretty much registered for everything possible that we could use. It will be a fairly massive wedding and we just want enough things for everyone to be able to buy, should they select to do so. Any other ideas of where we could go?

Great one-of-a-kind venue for a Boston wedding ceremony?
My fiance and I already have a spot picked out for our reception, in Beacon Hill and I can’t seem to come up with a place for the actual ceremony in Boston proper. We are not religious and do not want to go the church route and do not need a reception type place. I love the history of Boston and old, one-of-a-kind spots of character or great views. Also, the wedding will be next October so it needs to be indoors and we are planning on having about 50 people there.
We want to get married in the city of Boston.

Is it a bad idea to propose to my girlfriend at a wedding?
My girlfriend and I are going to my ideal friend’s wedding this summer. We have already discussed marriage and that we would like to get married to each other. My question is this: While everyone else is eating and whatnot after the ceremony, would it be a bad idea for the two of us to sneak back into the sanctuary at the church and for me to propose to her on the altar?
