How much does a (destination) wedding photographer cost?
I’m getting married this summer in St. Maarten. Anybody have any idea what the cost would be for a couple hours (at the most) for a wedding photographer? Since there will be no other family or friends present it will not be an all day event so I am hoping it would be cheaper than a typical wedding photographer.

Tips to not be scammed by photographers on wedding day?
I have heard a few nightmare stories of people being ripped off with their wedding pics & have seen some myself that are way to dodgy for the price paid.
Any ideas on questions to ask the potential photographer to get the ideal possible results? Any tips on how to get them to lower costs?

I’m using a canon 50D body with 15MGp

what is the largest size that I can print without loosing any details of the photo? Is Costco ideal for printing photos? Where else can you advocate me to print pics (with colors) with high end quality in Washington State?

What kind of paper for printing images is ideal and stay longer? (like glossy, rough surface, ect…)

The aspect of the original pic is 3×2. if I print 4×6 size, would I need to crop or adjust anything?

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER DOESN’T TAKE THE PICTURES YOU WANTED MOST?

What do you do when your wedding photographer doesn’t take the pics you wanted most?
My husband and I both have kids from previous marriages so we made all 5 of them a large part of our wedding ceremony. We gave the photographer a list when we first met with him with very specific pics we wanted taken. He assured us it would not be a problem. There was not anything out of the ordinary with our request. Well when we viewed our proofs I noticed that NONE of the pics we had asked for were there! When I confronted him, he stated that because of the wedding day schedule he did not have time to get the ones we wanted. He got all of the traditional pictures, but none with just us and the children. I guess with the day being so crazy and so much to do & remember, I did not think of it while he was taking the pictures. We cannot go back and do it all over again, and the photographer keeps telling me that it’s my fault he did not get to take them. What can I do?
