What kind of wedding flowers?
My wedding colors are red and yellow. My bridesmaids are going to be wearing red dresses. I was just wondering what flowers would be pretty in yellow and red? Thanks!

really the only way to know which you want more is to try them on and see what color looks ideal on you.

i thought i wanted white till i tried mine on. it’s called candlelight. it’s just a hair off white and soooo pretty. it complements my skin superior than the white did i think.

Return what you want, those people took a risk in getting a gift off the registry. Just be prepared to explain why you returned the item if they do come over and notice that it is missing. It’s highly unlikely that they would ask, but you can just state that you exchanged it for something that you needed and would use more. They should be happy that the money went to something useful rather than something random that would sit on a shelf forever.

Return what you want – - and I sincerely hope the givers included a gift receipt so you can get the full price they paid returned to you.

I got a few items that I was not registered for and that I had no use for. Wherever possible I returned the items for store credit. Anything I could not use and could not figure out where it came from went into a yardsale. Harsh, I know, but my fiance & I are in a 1,000 sq ft home with very tiny space to spare to stash stuff we do not need or cannot use.

They are your rings and your loss of a loved one. You do whatever feels right to you and I am so sorry you lost your husband. I do not think you will not think of him as often if you do not wear the rings.

This is a personal decision for each woman in that situation. Some, such as yourself, find it a constant reminder of a sad event. Others find it a comforting reminder of the good times. Whatever feels most comfortable for you is what you should do, and my condolences on your loss.
PS: It used to be a custom for a widow to place her wedding ring in the coffin with her husband, but that is no longer generally done.

Yes, you can use fake flowers and it can look very real, as long as it is done right.

If you can go to your local grocery store and purchase a bouquet for $ 15-$ 20 and cut off the ends and wrap a satin ribbon around the bottom. This will save you a lot of money and look nice

Fake flowers are fine. With it being fall, you can do dried flowers, too!!! If you have a hearvest theme, think about using wheat shafts as decor/bouquets. It can be very elegant and inexpensive.

I recently found a pic lab that makes there own pic albums, I got married last June in Las Vegas and had my wedding album done with them, great quality and they shipped it to me in about a month. I also had enlargements done with them too, they go the extra distance to make sure the pics where color corrected and lightened because the photographer that sold me my images where a tiny dark. They have an on the web ordering system and they are based in Las Vegas you should give them a try, I did and with great results! They are called – Iphotoshop.com

It’s a tiny tacky, yes. I would do the traditional champagne thing, and then at a later point during the reception you could all do a shot together.

i do not know about the tackiness, but i think people are a lot more likely to drink a champagne toast then to do a shot of vodka. a lot of people do not do shots, and straight vodka is not very good, especially if you do not usually do shots to start with.

i’d stick with champagne (or the regular table wine) and do shots later on at the bar with people who want to.

Where do you live? Check in your community to see if you have wholesale flowers….you can make your own centerpieces and boquets for super cheap.
