OPINIONS ON WHERE TO REGISTER FOR WEDDING GIFTS?
Question by tfv4mizzou:
opinions on where to register for wedding gifts?
We have registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. We do not need any bedding type stuff, and the first two stores mentioned, we pretty much registered for everything possible that we could use. It will be a fairly massive wedding and we just want enough things for everyone to be able to buy, should they select to do so. Any other ideas of where we could go?

WHAT IS THE MOVIE WHERE A MAN IS REGISTERING FOR WEDDING GIFTS AND HE TAGS TELEVISIONS BEHIND HIS WIFES BACK?
Question by TeeJay P:
What is the motion picture where a man is registering for wedding gifts and he tags TVs behind his wifes back?
I can’t think of the movie, but a man and a wife are out registering for gifts with the electronic tagger. They have kids with them because a friend dumped his kids on them. The wife goes to look at something and the guy frantically tags all these electronics while she is not paying attention. Thank you for any help

WHAT ARE SOME IDEAS FOR WEDDING PARTY GIFTS?
Question by November Bride:
What are some ideas for wedding celebration gifts?
My fiance and I would like to know what would be some good gift ideas for our wedding party. It’s a casual rustic/country style theme, if the gift went with the theme it would be great but it’s not necessary.
THANK YOU CARDS FOR WEDDING GIFTS. WHAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO?
Question by Tinky Toes:
Thank You Cards for Wedding Gifts. What is the right thing to do?
Is it inappropriate to send kind friends who have bought from a gift list, thank you cards prior to the actual wedding? I would like them to know that I know they have given a gift and am grateful but it seems kind of strange to do it as we have not had our wedding or honeymoon (we have a honeymoon registry) yet. Any wise words much appreciated.
Q&A: HOW CAN I ASK SOME PEOPLE TO REFRAIN FROM GIVING WEDDING GIFTS?
Question by soleil33180:
How can I ask some people to refrain from giving wedding gifts?
Most of our wedding guests will be traveling and purchasing flights and hotel rooms. I am uncomfortable with some of them giving gifts since I know how costly it will be for them to join us. I truly don’t want their gifts; only their presence. Is there a way to tell them not to get us anything without offending them and also have them take me seriously (instead of saying, “of course I’ll get you something!”)? PS – the invites are out

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO OPEN YOUR WEDDING GIFTS?
Question by justwondering:
When is the ideal time to open your wedding gifts?
I recently attended a wedding where the bride and groom had cake and then opened up the gifts in front of everyone at the reception. I thought it took forever and I got restless. Shouldn’t the gifts be opened later on your own time or is it appropriate to do it then and there? I am just wondering bc at my wedding reception I want it to be nice and enjoyable and most deff. not dragging. Thanks for your input!

I am a college student with a limited budget, and my friend is having a shower and a bachelorette party. Am I expected to give a gift at all of those events, plus a wedding gift? I am already paying for the norm: dress, shoes, hair, mani/pedi, etc.
